The Tampa Bay Lightning overwhelmed the San Jose Sharks, winning 7-3, and completing a sweep of their three-game west coast road trip.
Darren Raddysh put together a hat-trick performance, the first of his career, scoring one in the first period and two in the second. Meanwhile, all three San Jose goals came from Pavel Regenda, scoring a goal in each period. Raddysh and Regenda are only the second dueling duo to dish out opposing hat-tricks this season. The other such instance also involved the Sharks and a Raddysh... Taylor Raddysh (NY Rangers) back on Oct. 23rd.

Nikita Kucherov scored a goal in the second period, but more impressively, notched four assists, assisting on all of Raddysh’s goals, as well as a secondary assist on Brayden Point’s opening goal in the first period. It was his eight career five-point game. It’s also his seventh-consecutive multi-point road game. He’s currently ranked at #4 in the NHL with 59 points this season.
Tampa is now 14-4-3 (win, loss, OT loss) on the road with 12 of those wins and all four losses coming against opponents in the Western Conference. Tampa has also picked up points in seven consecutive road games ((6-0-1). You can thank Kucherov for that.
The Bolts are currently riding a seven-game winning streak. This is their second seven-game winning streak this season. The last time Tampa had two win streaks of seven games or better was the 2019-2020 season. They won the Stanley Cup that season.
Next up, the Bolts are back home vs. the Colorado Avalanche.
