Ricky Pearsall, a former University of Florida football player and now an NFL rookie drafted by the 49ers, is lucky to be alive after an incident on Saturday. According to his mom, Erin, a 17-year-old tried to steal Ricky’s Rolex and shot him in the chest. Thankfully, the bullet missed all his vital organs.
Erin believes it was “divine intervention” that saved Ricky, calling his survival a miracle. Ricky is expected to make a full recovery.
