Actress Mandy Moore on Tuesday announced the birth of her first child.
The “This Is Us” star, 36, went on Instagram on Tuesday to announce that she and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, the lead singer of the folk group band Dawes, welcomed a baby boy, August Harrison Goldsmith.
“Gus is here,” Moore posted on Instagram. “Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith. He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents. We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined.”
Moore, who has played Rebecca Pearson on “This Is Us” since 2016, revealed her pregnancy in September, Us Weekly reported, writing on Instagram that “Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021.”
Moore and Taylor Goldsmith were married in November 2018, E! Online reported.
