LAND O’LAKES, Fla. — A man has been charged with murder after an argument got physical in the Land O’Lakes, Florida, area Monday night.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called out to St. Luke Road around 10 p.m. about a deceased man, according to WFLA. When deputies arrived, they learned that the victim and Dale Slaunwhite, 52, had reportedly gotten into an argument.
One man struck another man with an ATV, killing him, the sheriff’s office in a Facebook post.
In an arrest report obtained by the Tampa Bay Times, deputies believe that Slaunwhite hit the victim with an ATV. The newspaper identified the victim as Michael Marano.
Marano’s young daughter had reportedly witnessed the entire incident, according to an arrest report obtained by the Times.
It is unclear what the argument was about, according to the newspaper.
Slaunwhite was arrested on Tuesday and has been charged with murder, according to the sheriff’s office.
He is being held without bond, according to jail records obtained by the Times.
