According to WMAR, the incident occurred about 1 a.m. Saturday as 5-month-old Garrison Bailey Borkoski was asleep in a Randallstown home. Two of four pit bulls in the home attacked the baby, causing head and neck lacerations and puncturing other parts of his body, Baltimore County police said.

Emergency responders rushed the infant, who was bloody and not moving, to a nearby hospital, where he was placed in intensive care, WMAR reported. The child has since been released and is “doing well,” Baltimore County police Detective Robert Reason told the news outlet.

The two dogs involved in the attack were surrendered to county health officials, authorities said.

Authorities have not arrested anyone in connection with the case, according to WMAR.
