The electronics company recently introduced the DVLED Extreme Home Cinema, and it is much more than your parents’ console television.

The DVLED, which stands for Direct View LED, is made for those who want a theater experience in the comfort of their own home, and who can afford it — not only the price tag but also the wall space the television needs.

The LG DVLED is similar to Samsung’s MicroLED display, PCMag reported.

Both control the light and color of each pixel individually, according to PCMag.

The display measures 325 inches, or just about half the size of a small movie theater screen, which starts at 540 inches.

Samsung offers a screen that can be scaled to 1,000 inches called, appropriately enough, The Wall, PCMag reported.

LG is also offering smaller sizes starting at 108 inches, according to the company’s website.

Picture quality can range from 2K (also known as 1080p) to 8K.

The prices for the displays range from $70,000 to $1.7 million.

The DVLED is said to have a half-life of 100,000 hours, PCMag reported.

To protect the purchase, LG will send the screens in a custom ATA flight case, Gizmodo reported.

Don’t think you can go to your local Best Buy or Target for the mega-televisions. You have to order directly from custom installation dealers, PCMag reported.
