Fran Haasch Law Group Teams Up with Mike Alstott Family Foundation to Support Veteran, First Responder, Hunger and Youth Programs

The 2021 game plan for the Fran Haasch Law Group and Mike Alstott Family Foundation is simple: Team up in support of giving back.

The personal injury firm has pledged $15K toward foundation initiatives and programs that “uplift the minds, hearts and spirits of families and children.” The partnership kicks off with a golf tournament sponsorship at the foundation’s annual Celebrity Outdoor Weekend event , April 23-24, in the Tampa Bay area.

“My family and I know Mike and his family through various charity initiatives we’ve all been involved with,” Haasch said. “We love that they’re passionate about many of the same causes and groups as we are - homelessness, youth, veterans, food insecurity and first responders.”

Inspired by her grandmother and father — WWII refugees who survived because of strangers’ generosity — Haasch’s devotion to giving back and helping others has been woven into her firm’s culture since she opened her Palm Harbor office in 2000.

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Mike Alstott formed the Mike Alstott Family Foundation in 2007. The foundation works with agencies and organizations that help individuals overcome life-altering obstacles.

“Supporting our community and the Fran Haasch Law Group are synonymous as far as we’re concerned, so partnering with them was not only a no-brainer but an honor,” Alstott said. “We can’t be more pleased that Fran and her team recognize the work the Foundation is doing in our area and we look forward to the possibilities with our groups teaming up together.”

Both the Fran Haasch Law Group and Mike Alstott Family Foundation have supported or hosted similar events throughout the Tampa Bay community, such as meal deliveries at Thanksgiving and Christmas to first responders and food-insecure families, toy and school supply drives, youth fishing tournaments and community food drives.

“Our shared and long-standing commitment to thanking the community and giving back to others makes for a seamless partnership between our law firm and the family foundation,” Haasch said.

She added, “We’ve all seen first hand how even the smallest kind gesture or amount can make a positive difference in someone’s life, and we look forward to working together on giving-back initiatives throughout the year.”
