Yes Amazon Really Sells ‘Banana Cleaners”. No I Don’t Think That’s How They’re Really Being Used

First let me explain that I didn’t go looking for this or even something like this. Someone else found it and shared a link to a Facebook page I follow. I didn’t believe it was real at first. Then I followed the Amazon link. Yep, its real. Someone invented what they’re calling a ‘banana cleaner’. Here’s a brief list of the reasons I don’t think that’s its actual intended use...

1. Nobody cleans bananas.

2. You don’t eat the banana peel, so why would you care if its clean or dirty?

3. You can mount it to a wall...why would that feature ever be necessary to clean bananas?

4. Watching the video of it actually cleaning a banana, the banana doesn’t move so its only ‘cleaning’ the same spot.

5. According to Amazon people who bought this also bought...lube. (see photo below)

6. It will come in private packaging with discreet delivery which seems excessively unnecessary for a fruit cleaner.

Watch this interesting invention in action and decide for yourself...
