KEY WEST, Fla. — An intoxicated man who apparently stole a floating tiki bar was taken into custody Wednesday, officials said.
The U.S. Coast Guard recovered the vessel near Hawk’s Channel near Key West.
The man, who has not been identified, is facing charges of grand theft and resisting an officer without violence, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
“The person aboard showed signs of intoxication and was taken into custody,” the Coast Guard said on social media. “Don’t drink and boat.”
