One person died and two people were injured when a plane crashed in southwestern Montana on Thursday, authorities said.
The twin-engine Cessna 337 Skymaster crashed in a mountainous region, according to Allen Kenitzer, a spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration.
Just before 11 a.m., someone in the plane called 911, KTMF reported. The airplane was found around 3 p.m., the television station reported. It was headed from Helena to Jackson, Wyoming.
The crash is currently under investigation by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.
