Ryan Adams

Executive Producer/Co-host

Once upon a time - way back in the early 1980s - two young people were in love. This love would lead to love-making. This love-making would lead to a bouncing baby boy that would come to be known simply as - Ryan. Many years would go by and Ryan would become obsessed with sports. An athlete since the age of five - Ryan's love lies on the diamond and played baseball for five years. He also played hockey for ten years and had a cup of coffee on the football field in high school. Somewhere along the way he found a passion for the theater and spent almost a decade of his life on stage in the Tampa Bay area with a brief stint out in Los Angeles working in television with NBC Studios.

In November 2012, Ryan attended The Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Tampa and graduated in March of 2013 a certified broadcaster! He spent most of the first two years of his career in sports radio, with 14 months spent working for the now defunct 98.7 The Fan as a field reporter covering all of the Tampa pro teams as well as USF athletics. In February of 2015, Ryan joined the Cox Media Group family as a field reporter and promotions staff for The Bone. Then, in April, he became the Executive Producer for "The Johnny B Show."

When he isn't working his tail off in radio - Ryan is a family man. He and his wife, Susan, have two beautiful children - Brayden and Paige - and there is nothing in the world more important to him than being a husband and a father. He also is the host and Executive Producer of "The Scrum Sports Radio Show" which has become the official sports partner of "The Johnny B Show."
