Recall alert: Ford recalls 700K vehicles due to backup camera issue

Ford has issued another recall of its vehicles. This time 700,000 are covered by the announcement.

The reason is due to a poor electrical connection that could make the backup cameras either become distorted or go out completely, The Associated Press reported.

The company says the recall involves 2020:

  • F-Series trucks
  • Explorer
  • Mustang
  • Transit
  • Expedition
  • Escape
  • Ranger
  • Edge
  • Lincoln Nautilus
  • Lincoln Corsair

Click here to see if your vehicle is under recall. You will need your car’s vehicle identification number or VIN.

Dealers will replace the camera at no cost starting around Nov. 7, the AP reported.
