The ring wasn't the only nod to the Princess of Wales. BuzzFeed reported that Markle's wedding bouquet included Diana's favorites, forget-me-nots, which Prince Harry picked from the Kensington Palace gardens. Additionally, two of Diana's diamonds were used to make Markle's engagement ring, "Today" reported.

'Royal wedding guest name' quiz could help scammers get your personal data

A seemingly innocent quiz that has been sweeping social media could help scammers get their hands on your personal data, experts say.

>> Royal Wedding: Meghan Markle, Prince Harry wed

"What's your royal wedding guest name?" the meme, which began circulating ahead of Saturday's royal wedding, asks.

>> Royal Wedding photos: The kiss, the ring and more highlights

One version reads as follows:

"In honor of the royal wedding, use your 'royal wedding guest name' this week. Start with either 'Lord' or 'Lady' – your first name is one of your grandparents' names. Your surname is the name of your first pet, then 'of' followed by the name of the street you grew up on."

So what's the problem? According to WXIX and HuffPost, sharing your "royal name" could reveal the answers to your security questions.

"If they’re asking you what could be security-rated questions like ‘What’s your mother’s maiden name?' – things that you would get asked that would allow you to perhaps reset a password, login to a system through some alternative approach – they could be taking that information and be attempting to hack into systems with that," Dave Hatter, WXIX's technology expert, told the TV station.

A computer security expert identified as Snow echoed the sentiment in a message to HuffPost, saying the answers "could be used to gain access to accounts (social media, banking, work email, etc) with potential for identity theft."

Meghan Markle in 'difficult situation,' palace says after report father will skip royal wedding

Following reports that Thomas Markle won’t attend daughter Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry on Saturday, royal reps have issued a statement.

While not outright confirming the reports, it asked for “understanding,” especially for the American bride-to-be and her father.

>> On AJC.com: TMZ: Meghan Markle’s dad won’t be at the royal wedding on Saturday

“This is a deeply personal moment for Ms. Markle in the days before her wedding,” a Kensington Palace spokesman said Monday. “She and Prince Harry ask again for understanding and respect to be extended to Mr. Markle in this difficult situation.”

Royal wedding: Trump not invited, Obamas not going either, report says

Cancel that shipment of monogrammed “Harry & Meghan” towels from the White House.

CNN is reporting that President Donald Trump is not invited to the royal wedding on May 19 in Windsor, England.

>> Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seek charity donations over wedding gifts

Former President Barack Obama and wife Michelle won’t be there either, despite having a close and apparently fun-loving relationship with groom-to-be Prince Harry in particular. Though it’s not clear if the Obamas were invited and just have something else to do that day (though seriously, what could be more important than watching the current fifth-in-line to the throne say “I do” to former “Suits” actress and American Meghan Markle)?

>> On MyAJC.com: Who’s who in American Meghan Markle’s family

Apparently, the lack of invite is nothing personal where the current president and first lady Melania Trump are concerned. A White House official told CNN that no elected U.S. officials were invited to the nuptials at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

In fact, a spokesman for Kensington Palace (where Harry and Meghan live, along with their neighbors, Prince William and Kate and their kids) told CNN that “world leaders and political figures would not be invited in their official capacities."

“It has been decided that an official list of political leaders — both UK and international — is not required for Prince Harry and Ms. Markle’s wedding,” the palace told CNN.

Hmm … Technically, the Obamas no longer have “official capacities” as political figures, so maybe they did make the cut?

“The royal source would not say whether they had been invited,” CNN said.

Wedding interrupted after bride discovers she's allergic to cake

There’s good news for the pair of New Jersey newlyweds whose dream wedding ended in tears after the bride had an allergic reaction to the wedding cake, leaving her temporarily hospitalized -- they’re about to get a free do-over.

Bride Victoria Tumolo was dancing the night away at her reception back in September when she she noticed a change in her breathing patterns. Luckily, Tumolo’s career as a nurse meant that she was prepared for such a situation, and she quickly realized what was happening.

“You need to get my parents,” she told the guests. “I think I have to go to the hospital.”

The next thing she knew, her father was administering an EpiPen through her wedding dress, according to the Courier-Post.

“I had to take my dress off outside so they wouldn’t cut it off me when we got to the hospital,” Victoria Tumolo said, adding that her new husband, Dominic Tumolo, and her mother removed her dress together.

“I didn’t really panic,” groom Dominic told WTXF. “I just wanted to make sure the ambulance got there and got everyone settled and then go to the hospital.”

“I wanted everyone to stay and have a good time,” Victoria said. “There was a lot of confusion, and some people knew what was going on.”

Victoria later discovered that she was allergic to milk and almonds, but the symptoms of her allergy only appear after strenuous physical activity -- like dancing.

Luckily, it wasn’t all doom and gloom for the not-so-happy couple. Their caterer, Jim Auletto, teamed up with the owner of the company that provided the entertainment for the reception to offer them a complimentary do-over -- a free second reception.

“This is driving me crazy; she didn’t get to cut her cake” Auletto told WTXF. “It never happened before, so we have to do something.”

So Auletto emailed the couple and asked them if they’d be interested in a second reception, at no charge.

“(Victoria) just started crying because she was so happy,” Dominic said. “We called her parents to let them know the good news.”

Hair and make-up professionals have also volunteered to help the bride out at no cost, and the wedding photographer has also offered their services free of charge.

The couple is excited to finally cut their wedding cake together, but Dominic admitted that, at this point, they have a few unorthodox ideas regarding the tradition.

“I’m thinking of cutting that cake and smashing it in her face,” he joked. “We’ve been trash talking like that for a while.”

Man, wife and sister: A heartwarming union

This one is a keeper.

Earlier this year, Will Seaton showed there are still many good guys out there. When Seaton decided it was finally time to pop the question to Ashley Schaus, there was one person he had to ask a very important question. No, not her father, but rather her sister Hannah.

Seaton asked Hanna to be his “best friend forever.”

Hanna has Down’s syndrome and diabetes, and when Seaton and Schaus started dating, Hanna was part of the deal, the couple told ABC News in June.

The couple got married on Oct. 7 and Hanna was there in a special role.

Wearing a white dress of her own, Hanna was a bridesmaid, but she was also dubbed the “Best Sister.”

Hanna also exchanged “best friend vows” with Will, WXIN reported.

“I promise to tell funny jokes. I promise to care for you. Thank you for being in my life,” Hanna told Will.

They also had a first dance together, to the Michael Bublè version of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” WXIN reported.
