Ball was in the Intensive Care Unit until yesterday and his sister, Natalie Myricks, wrote in an e-mail to The Post that he was released today. He spent six days at Shands and
was diagnosed with a congenital vascular condition
.

Initially, Ball suffered bleeding in his brain and there was fear for his life, but that subsided as he progressed throughout the week.

Ball, a sophomore-to-be, is unlikely to participate when Florida begins spring practices March 16.
