• When is the event?

A-     Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 10am – 4pm

• Can I preregister?

A-     You can download both the  waiver  and  rules template from www.Hot1015tampabay.com and Theboneonline.com, or pick up the waivers and rules from the front desk at the Offices of Cox Media Group at 11300 4^th Street North Suite 300, St Petersburg, FL 33716 from 12:00pm – 5:00pm

• When can I line up?

A – Entrants who preregister can begin lining up at 8am at the Ritz Ybor Entrance. Pregistration line will go towards 15^th Street (to the right of the building if you are facing the entrance). The standby entry will be on the opposite side of The Ritz entrance and will wind towards 16^th Street (to left hand side of the building if you are facing it). There will be one line for preregistered entrants and one line for standby entrants. Preregistered entrants with COMPLETED paperwork and accompanying proper official government issued photo ID will be given first numbers that will be handed out upon completion of waiver and entrant forms. All preregistered entrants will be given numbers based first come/first serve with completed forms and photo ID. Unruly behavior or trying to skip in line will result in immediate elimination.

• If I preregister and I have a number assigned, am I guaranteed an audition?

A – We will start auditions at or around 10:00am and conclude auditions on or around 4:00pm or until all auditions are complete whichever occurs first. There will be several breaks by the judges throughout the day. We anticipate being able to audition 150 applicants but that number depends on the time available.

• If I am able to audition how long will I have to audition?

A – You will have up to 2 minutes but could get excused early by the judges if they deem fit

• How will I be judged?

A – As with similar talent shows Entrants will be judged on verbal execution, delivery, appeal and intangible factors as deemed by the judges.

• How will the winner(s) be determined?

A-     We will determine from judges input a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 12 contestants who will then be voted on in online voting on Hot1015tampabay.com and Theboneonline.com. The voting combined with the judges final judging will determine the winner.

• Are spectators allowed to watch?

A – Yes, spectators over the age of 18 are permitted to watch the event free of charge and will be permitted entry on a first come/first serve basis beginning at 9:30am. Spectators who are unruly, disruptive, overly abusive will be ejected and not be permitted to return. 

• Will food and drinks be available for purchase?

A – Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase. Food will not be available.
