THIS CLASS IS OFFERED IN SPANISH. We strongly recommend that you download and read the Spanish manual prior to attending the classroom session.This training is for anyone that wants to apply fertilizers. It is required for anyone that wants to apply fertilizers commercially. This training is focused on reducing non-point source pollution resulting from fertilization or pesticide application.This class provides the training and testing necessary to obtain the GI-BMP certificate. GI-BMP certification will be awarded to those passing the exam (75% or better score). The GI-BMP certificate is then used to obtain the Limited Fertilizer License by submitting an application and fee ($25) to the State of Florida.Please bring your own coffee, etc as we can't provide these. Lunch is on your own.Refunds are given if you notify us a day in advance that you have to cancel.This class is offered at no cost to, Pinellas County Government Employees, Pinellas County School Board Employees, and Pinellas County Master Gardener Volunteers. Identification must be provided on the day of class to attend this class for free.A maximum of 4 CEUs can be earned by attending this class. We will provide a full refund for cancellations made by Pinellas County Extension. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.
