102.5 The Bone radio personality and class clown Artie Lange brings his funny stories and madness to the Mahaffey Theater on Saturday, September 28th!
A funny man who is often compared to his idol, John Belushi, Artie Lange is a comedian, actor, writer, producer, entrepreneur and radio personality who finds humor observing life and telling stories. He will perform at The Mahaffey Theater on Saturday, September 28th at 8 p.m. Tickets starting at $32.50 go on sale Friday, July 12th at noon.
He is currently hosting The Artie Lange Show, broadcast locally on WHPT-FM, 102.5 the Bone. The Fox News Radio show is an offshoot of The Nick and Artie Show that he launched with comedian Nick DiPaolo in 2011. Before that, Lange was a popular regular on The Howard Stern Show for nine years. His memoir, Too Fat to Fish, became a New York Times best seller.
Artie Lange gained a reputation as a class clown in school and performed his first stand-up routine when 19. He got his start in the comedy clubs of New York City where he helped create Live on Tape, the popular sketch comedy group, and wrote and performed with troupes such as Midnight Madness and The Improvables.
His breakout work with Live on Tape landed him his debut television role as one of the original series regulars on Fox’s Mad TV.
Film credits include: Dirty Work cast opposite Norm MacDonald, The Bachelor with Chris O’Donnell and Renée Zellweger, Lost and Found with David Spade, Kinka Usher’s Mystery Men and The Fourth Floor with Juliette Lewis and William Hurt. Lange also starred, co-wrote and produced Beer League, a film that Variety said “offers a trip back in time to a pre-PC and feminist era when men were sexist Neanderthals; women supported them from the sidelines and the guy with the biggest mouth scored.”
