US DECISION ON CUBA TERROR-DESIGNATION PANEL FORUM DISCUSSION Tampa, Florida – April 9, 2013 – The World Trade Center Tampa Bay and Florida Council of Churches will co-host a panel forum on the upcoming decision Secretary of State, John Kerry, has to make on whether to advocate that the Obama Administration should take Cuba off a list of state sponsors of terrorism, a collection of Washington foes that also includes Iran, Syria and Sudan. U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor has called for the Obama administration and Congress to lift travel restrictions and the 51-year-old trade embargo on Cuba. "Cuba is changing," said Castor, D-Tampa, who returned from a fact-finding trip to the island. "They have embarked on economic reforms that the United States of America should promote. The United States of America now should normalize relations and begin a constructive dialogue with the island nation." A group of respected panelists will share their insights on the legal, social, cultural, and economic backgrounds of Cuba and their impact on the Tampa Bay Area. These individuals include: • John B.
