Benefits The ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION

We started the Memory Poker Run in March of 2007 after the loss of Todd's mothers whom had Alzheimer's. When she was diagnosed with this disease at the age of 63 the family had no ideal where to turn or what to do. We did not  know about the all the resources available to help with the care of one with Alzheimer's or the support for the family. We did not learn about these resources until after the loss of her at the very young age of 66. After this we decided we were gonna do something to raise money to help find a cure and help make people aware of the resources available so hopefully one day no one would have to experience this heart breaking disease.
