Ranked by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Texas native Johnny Winter and his band return to Clearwater with a performance at the Capitol Theatre in downtown Clearwater’s Cleveland Street District on Sunday, February 17 at 8 pm. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, December 15 at noon at the Ruth Eckerd Hall Ticket Office.

The Texas guitar tradition runs deep. One name that ranks atop all others is Johnny Winter, the international ambassador for rocking Texas blues for the last thirty years. His 2009 GRAMMY®-nominated disc titled I’m A Bluesman adds to his Texas-sized reputation. This tour, Winter brings audiences material from his 2011 release Roots while reacquainting them with his iconic guitar playing.
