Explore underground caverns in the Withlacoochee State Forest where stalactites, stalagmites, and other geological treasures are found. Look out for bats as you crawl through twisting caverns. Wear comfortable shoes, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt that you won’t mind getting dirty. Program involves walking and crawling. Bring a hat, flashlight, lunch and plenty of water. All participants will meet near the caves north of Brooksville. Directions will be provided with your confirmation letter. The trip is designed for adults with children age 8 or older.
