The East Lake Woodlands Women’s Golf Association invites you to join us for a golf scramble. This event is open to men, women, and couples. WHEN: February 19, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. WHERE: East Lake Woodlands Country Club COST: For golf, cart, prizes, and lunch $65 if paid by 2/5 $75 after 2/5 The ELWWGA’s Drive for a Cure supports local efforts to spread awareness about breast health and assist with breast screening. The event supports the Florida Suncoast Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, which is committed to local awareness as the first step in eliminating breast cancer, and the Morton Plant Mease Mammography Voucher Program (MVP), which provides screening, diagnostic, and treatment for uninsured or underinsured women in Pinellas County. In 2012 the support of the ELWWGA and the community donated more than $17,000 to support local citizens with breast cancer information and screening. This year’s goal is to donate $20,000. All of the net proceeds are donated to the charities. Join the ELWWGA by becoming a sponsor and by playing in the event.
