Two Tampa leading dance companies have agreed to sponsor 20 dance scholarships valued at $20,000, to deserving students. Madrin’ha Hollie from Madrin’ha Dance Company and Grace Badillo with Dancing with Grace will hold Belly Dancing, Salsa & Bachata Auditions at 3040 W.   Cypress St., Tampa FL 33609. Requirements are to write a 1 page essay explaining why you want to be part of a dance team. Please wear dance gear and bring water. Students must participate in 3 hour lessons every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. for the Salsa & Bachata classes. Belly Dance classes will meet every Monday from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Both classes will begin during February 2013. Classes last the entire year at no cost to the student and will include mentoring, choreography and training.
