Since coming to national attention during the second season of American Idol in 2003, Clay Aiken has undertaken nine tours, written a New York Times bestselling memoir (Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in Your Life), sold more than six million albums, produced and hosted television programs, starred on Broadway as Sir Robin in Monty Python’s Spamalot, and devoted considerable energy and resources to improving the lives of children the world over. He has been a UNICEF ambassador since 2004. With Diane Bubel, he cofounded the National Inclusion Project, which supports the integration of children with disabilities into an environment with their non-disabled peers. Clay’s first album (Measure of a Man) sold three million copies (613,000 in the first week), debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, went double-platinum and earned Aiken an American Music Award. Clay is the eighth artist to have his first four albums debut in the Billboard Top 5.
