Description:
The Office of Sustainability is hosting a screening of "Solar Mamas", a documentary that takes place in rural Jordan. Rafea, a mother of four children with a husband eager to take a third wife, leaves her village for the first time to attend the Barefoot College in India to obtain the training to become a solar-energy engineer. This screening is free and open to the public, with Q&A following the film. Please RSVP for this event at wedu.org/cinema.
